My Background

With over 20 years of dedicated experience in basketball shooting coaching, I have been working at the NBA level since 2009, collaborating with teams such as the Phoenix Suns, Cleveland Cavaliers, Orlando Magic, and the Dallas Mavericks. My career has been highlighted by transformative successes with players who have dramatically improved their shooting abilities through my coaching.

Among these standout achievements, Aaron Gordon saw his free-throw percentage jump from 42% to 72% during his rookie year, while Dewayne Dedmon enhanced his free-throw accuracy from 55% to 75% in just one offseason. Players like Melvin Ejim and Facundo Campazzo also exemplify the effectiveness of targeted training, with Campazzo notably achieving a 40/50/90 shooting split in his domestic league.

My credentials extend beyond the NBA; I've contributed as a co-author on published research papers related to shooting mechanics and development, ensuring that my coaching methods are not only based on extensive experience but are also evidence-based. I have consulted for numerous NCAA basketball programs and various National Federations, reflecting a broad acknowledgment of my expertise across different basketball cultures.

In addition to professional and collegiate coaching, I am passionate about nurturing emerging talent and have conducted shooting clinics for youth basketball programs worldwide. I also offer private training opportunities for players at all levels, tailored to those who seek to refine their skills through personalized coaching.

This diverse and rich background not only underpins my understanding of shooting mechanics but also enriches the training I provide, making it comprehensive and adaptable to various levels of play. Whether you are a budding young player, a college athlete aiming for the pros, or a coach looking to deepen your tactical knowledge, my experience across different tiers of basketball provides a well-rounded perspective that can elevate your game or coaching prowess.
